Powdery Emulsion Explosive
Powdery emulsion explosives are a type of ammonium nitrate-based explosive formed by dispersing fine droplets of a low-water-content oxidizer solution or molten oxidizer into a continuous oil phase solution composed of specific carbonaceous fuels and emulsifying agents. Through processes like high-shear emulsification, spray drying, spin flash drying, or cooling and solidification followed by pulverization, this water-in-oil type emulsion matrix is transformed into a powdered form.
Rock-type powdery emulsion explosive is widely used for rock blasting and other construction blasting operations, particularly suitable for blasting projects without gas or mine dust hazards.
Coal mine permissible powdery emulsion explosive is suitable for blasting projects with gas or mine dust hazards.
